Song Finder help

Troubleshoot your input before starting another search.

Microphone access

Microphone permission is requested only after you choose to start recording. If the browser blocks it, check the permission setting for this site and confirm that another app is not using the microphone. A working microphone and a secure connection are required.

The recorder stops automatically after 15 seconds. You can stop it earlier, listen to your clip, and record another section if needed. Very short or silent clips can fail audio validation.

Audio file uploads

Select Upload, choose whether your file contains original music or humming, then browse for an audio file. Files must be under 10 MB and contain at least 10 seconds of supported audio. A decoding error does not mean the song is absent from the catalog; try a compatible MP3 or WAV file.

Unavailable recognition

If the work area says recognition is unavailable, the required provider may not be configured or enabled. This is different from a completed search that finds no matching song. Do not repeatedly submit a clip while the service is unavailable.

Sign-in and credits

Sign in to record, upload and submit searches. Pricing explains the existing credit packs and account allowance. Completed searches, including no-match results, use credits. Invalid uploads and technical failures do not use credits under the existing billing rules.

Payment, account and recognition services need separate deployment configuration. A local interface preview alone does not confirm that checkout or a real provider request is available.
